A number of my songs, including "Pour Me A Man," are available in sheet music.
As of March 15, 2006, the fee is $5 per song ($6 if mailed in hard copy).
See below for the short list of available song titles, or check the Song Index for a complete listing and description of all of my songs. Go to the MP3 Page to hear many of the songs. The list of available songs will be expanding; check back for more titles. All songs are available in the key best suited to your voice.
Here's what to do:
1. Contact me and let me know what titles you're interested in; or describe what type of song you're looking for, and I'll suggest some titles.
2. Let me know how you plan to use the song (cabaret performance, inclusion on a CD, etc.)
3. Let me know your vocal range, specifically your highest "money" note, so that I can send you an appropriate transposition.
4. Let me know if you want the songs mailed to the address you specify, or sent directly to your e-mail address as PDF files, which can be printed from any computer (you can download Adobe Reader for free from www.adobe.com, and Apple users can use Preview).
5. I'll reply with information on where to send a check.
If you'd like to record a song of mine (for a CD, or other use), contact me and I will send you a letter of agreement, with the fees equal to the current Harry Fox rate (currently 9.1 cents per song per manufactured CD or digital download sale).
My songs are registered with Broadcast Music International (BMI). Most cabarets and performance spaces pay a blanket license for spot performances of songs in the BMI catalogue; there is no further charge for such performances.
To include songs of mine in a structured revue or theatrical presentation, contact me with your proposal and we'll draft a letter of agreement concerning the royalty and performance rights.
Please note that Miss Gulch Returns! and The Two Svengalis are copyrighted works (book, music & lyrics) and may not be presented without prior permission and letters of agreement. Although individual songs from these productions are available to individual performers in the situations indicated above, the shows themselves are protected and are available for production solely by legitimate theatrical production companies, by prior letter of agreement (contact me).
